Fire has destroyed the Tutor’s Office of the Ho Nursing Training College in Ho; the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has announced.
The Ghana National Fire Service said in a statement that it swiftly contained the fire outbreak after responding to a distress call on Sunday, 28th June 2026.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control within minutes, preventing it from spreading to adjoining offices and other parts of the building, the statement said.
The fire destroyed office furniture, electrical appliances, books, and other equipment within the affected office.
No injuries were recorded.
GNFS commended the professionalism of the crew and urged institutions to strengthen fire safety measures through the installation and regular maintenance of fire protection equipment.
