Ghanaian musician Lasmid says he is not surprised by the massive reception his latest single, ‘Biggest Nathaniel’, has received, saying the song reflects the struggles and experiences of many people.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with 3Entertainment’s Naphtali Baah, the singer explained that while the record is inspired by parts of his own journey, it tells a much broader story.
“It’s actually a life story, not just my life story, but the stories of many others. I can’t talk about everything because it’s all in the song, but I can share some,” Lasmid said.
When asked whether the song’s growing popularity and widespread acceptance had caught him off guard, the artiste said he expected listeners to connect with its message because it mirrors the realities of everyday life.
“I’m not surprised because a lot of people are going through the same things. Life is really tough for a lot of people,” he stated.
Lasmid noted that his goal was to give hope to people facing hardships and remind them that difficult moments do not last forever.
“I wanted everybody who is going through tough times in life to believe that there will be better days someday. Don’t give up, keep pushing,” he added.
Since its release, Biggest Nathaniel has generated conversations on social media and continues to resonate with listeners who identify with its message of resilience, perseverance and hope.
