Media General news anchor with Onua TV, Oyoko Piesie Kwame Asante, has been named Male Media Personality of the Year at the sixth edition of the Bono Legendary Awards.
He received the honour at a ceremony held in Sunyani on Saturday, October 31, in recognition of his contribution to the media industry and his commitment to inspiring the next generation.
The award celebrates personalities who have made notable contributions to their respective fields, with Oyoko Piesie Kwame Asante emerging as the recipient of the Male Media Personality of the Year category.
A citation presented in his honour highlighted his dedication to nurturing and inspiring the next generation, describing him as the Most Outstanding Male Media Personality of the Year.
