At least six (6) lives have been claimed in a head-on collision on the Nkenkaasu – Akomadan road in the Offinso North district of the Ashanti region.
The Wednesday morning, March 13, 2024, accident, according to reports, occurred around 4:00am after the driver of a Kia vehicle with registration number GE- 5097-23 lost control, clashing with a Yuntong bus with registration number EN- 3827-2023.
The bus was reportedly traveling with passengers from Yendi to Kumasi.
The accident claimed six lives on the spot, leaving others in a critical condition.
Those that sustained injuries were sent to the Nkenkaasu Government Hospital for treatment.
The Akomadan – Nkenkaasu stretch has claimed 13 lives in a space of two weeks in two separate accidents.
