Traders and residents around the abandoned Krofrom market in the Manhyia South district of the Ashanti Region have expressed frustrations over the state of the project.
Traders who need a market to use and residents around the area believe much needs to be done to complete the market to rid the area of the criminal and unwanted activities that have bedeviled the place.
Residents and traders around the abandoned market said on Akoma and Onua TV/FM joint current affairs and political show Tuesday, September 27, 2022 that:
“We are living in fear and panic around hear because the abandoned Krofrom market has turned to headquarters of armed robbers, weed smokers and prostitutes for their criminal activities.”
They are therefore pleading on the government for the completion of the abondoned 14-year-old market project.
