They saw off Namibia 3-0 in the first Round of 16 game played on Saturday, January 27.
Two goals from Gelson Dala and a final from Mabuluku ensured that the Angolans made it to the next stage at the expense of the Brave Warriors.
They will next face the winner of the Nigeria-Cameroon game, which will later kick off at the Félix Houphouët Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.
