The schedule for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers has been released.

The draw for the qualifiers for the 35th Cup of Nations was held last Thursday, pegging Ghana in Group F alongside Angola, Sudan and Niger.

By the schedule, released by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the Black Stars will host the Palancas Negras in September before travelling away to play Niger.

After the resumption of the qualifiers in October, the Black Stars will host Sudan’s Falcons of Jediane, coached by James Kwesi Appiah.

That crucial encounter will see the former Black Stars coach returning to a familiar territory.

The return leg in Sudan will be within a couple of days, before the final two qualifiers are cleared in November.

The tournament is scheduled to be held from Sunday, December 21, 2025 to Sunday, January 18, 2026.
