The Super Eagles added the Bronze medal at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to their medal haul after a 4-2 penalty shoot-out win over record champions Egypt.
The third-place playoff had ended goalless at the Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca.
Therefore, it went straight to penalties, which was won by the three-time champions.
This will be the ninth Bronze medal for the Super Eagles.
All eyes now turn to the final game on Sunday between Senegal and hosts Morocco.
Both have won the tournament once – Senegal in 2021 and Morocco in 1976.
