Representative for Tamale North in Ghana’s Legislature, Alhassan Suhiyini has given a whole a new twist to the ongoing Aisha Huang brouhaha and trial.

The Member of Parliament has spilled out his insinuations suggesting the galamsey queen’s ordeal might have been instigated by some powers that be.

According to Mr. Suhiyini, some big men worked out Aisha Huang’s return to Ghana to engage in some partnership.

However, the Chinese is probably shortchanging the said big men who also want to “show her where power lies.”

“Some big men may have even facilitated her return into this country but are having some disagreement with her and want to teach her where power lies by engaging in these antics that would either make her sobber and that would lead to her eventual deportation from this country,” the MP alleged.

Mr. Suhiyini was speaking on Accra-based Joy FM Saturday, September 17, 2022.

Meanwhile, Counsel for Aisha Huang, Captain Nkrabeah Effah Dartey has said the state is harrassing and maltreating his client.

His comment followed four fresh charges filed against the ‘illegal mining commando’ by the Attorney General.

The charges are the four that were leveled against her in 2018 prior to her eventual repatriation after a nolle prosequi was filed by the state.

Ghanaians were however made to believe that the woman was deported instead of repatriation as communicated by then Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo Maafo.

It has also emerged that Aisha Huang was neither repatriated nor deported but was harboured in a Minister’s house at East Legon.
