Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin, a broadcast journalist at Akoma FM, a subsidiary of the Media General Group Ltd. has been adjudged Radio Personality of the Year in Ashanti region at the Radio and Television Personalities (RTP) awards 2022.
He is the host of GhanAkoma, a morning show programme on Akoma FM.
Traditionally held annually, the 12th edition of the RTP awards seeks to celebrate media personalities and brands educating; entertaining, informing, inspiring and shaping the Ghanaian society with their various weights.
Kofi Asante dedicated the award to his team and cherished listeners and followers during the show on Monday, December 12, 2022.
“I intentionally didn’t really advertise to my listeners to vote for me because I wanted to see if my followers genuinely love me and they have proven beyond reasonable doubt that I am their favourite. The Radio Personality of the year in Ashanti region is a huge feat and I am really humbled. This award goes to my team and my fans I love you all,” he noted.
