Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew’s goal against Lorient in the French Ligue 1 has been adjudged Goal of the Month.
The goal, one of two scored in the 3-3 draw on Sunday, January 28, was a beautiful bicycle kick in the penalty area of the opponents.

The Matchday 19 clash was the first for the Stars’ captain after led a poor campaign in the Africa Cup of Nations.
He conceded a penalty and a Yellow card in the 2-2 draw against Mozambique and failed to score to set a record in the tournament.
He, however, stepped up as a substitute at the Stade du Moustoir, Yves Allainmat with 20 minutes to go, equalizing with both of his goals, first to peg the score 2-2 and then 3-3.
The top scorer at the 2015 AFCON also scored last Wednesday against Strasbourg in the French Cup, albeit a consolation in his side’s 3-1 loss.
