A first-half strike by Abdul Aziz Issah was the separator in the quarter-final clash between champions Dreams FC and Soccer Intellectuals SC in the MTN FA Cup.

The outstanding game was played at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu on Thursday, May 2.

That game had been rescheduled due to the engagement of Dreams FC in the CAF Confederation Cup.

After their exit at the semi-final stage, the Still Believe boys returned to a favourite tournament, whose ticket saw them compete in Africa for the first time.

With only a win to guarantee their qualification to the next stage of the FA Cup, Abdul Karim Zito’s charges dominated play in both halves despite finding it difficult to break the steeled defence of the Division One side.

But talented left-footed midfielder Issah rose to the occasion, scoring the match winner.

Dreams FC will next face fellow Ghana Premier League side Bofoakwa Tano FC for a place in the final of the second-tier club competition in Ghana.
