The flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has promised students of the Keta Midwifery and Nursing Training School of providing them with logistics.
He says those logistics which includes laptops to improve their studies, as well as motorbikes to support their transportation.
Dr. Bawumia made the assurance after the principal of the school, Mabel Dorku, made a request during his visit to the school as part of his tour to the Volta region.
According to Bawumia, he had earlier supported the roofing of the school when images of the institution became unpleasant, pledging his commitment for a continued support for the school.
“Keta NMTC needed an urgent help with their roofing, when I saw the pictures I didn’t hesitate at all, I asked them how much is it, they told me and sent what was required and God being so good today I am under the roof of the very building that we rebuilt together.
“Today, God has brought me here and the principal has made certain request for NMTC. I believe God is talking to me through the principal that I should do something for NMTC.
“I know that you have requested for laptops, projector, motorbikes, generator, I am going to provide them for you. So, when I get back to Accra, you will hear from me. I will make sure you get the logistics that you have requested,” he assured.
