Some unidentified gunmen have killed three persons and injured two others at Binduri in the Upper East region on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
The five victims included two children and three adults. One of the adults and the two children were confirmed dead.
According to eyewitnesses, the attack occurred in the evening, leaving the community in shock and deep sorrow.
One of the injured has been identified as George Bukari, who is a Manager of Binduri-based Maxx Empire Radio and TV. He was rushed to the hospital together with the fifth victim for treatment.
Meanwhile, local sources have linked the incident to the renewed Bawku conflict which resurfaced earlier this year.
