The senior national men’s soccer team, the Black Stars, touched down in the United States of America (USA) at dawn in time for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The team left Wales on Wednesday barely a day after a 1-1 draw against the Welsh national team at the Cardiff City Stadium.

The team arrived in Virginia late Wednesday en route to Rhode Island, where the team will be based.

On board the flight were all officials and players including Solomon Agbasi, who has been given a special place in the team camp by coach Carlos Queiroz.

Ghana will begin their campaign on Wednesday, June 17 against Panama in Toronto before playing England and Croatia later in Group L.

The team will be based in Bryant University throughout its campaign in North America.
