The Black Stars have left Accra for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad on Thursday, September 4.

The team left the shores of the country after a two-day training session at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The first day, on Monday, saw 12 players join the session while the second day saw nearly all invited players at training.

Ghana will take on Les Sao at the Stade Olympique Marechal Idriss Deby Itno in the capital, N’Djamena, before returning for a date against Mali on Monday.

The Black Stars currently top Group I of the qualifying series with 15 points, three more than Comoros.

They have lost only once, against Comoros, and are set to qualify after Matchday 8 if results in other matches favour them.
