Twenty-two players were on the plane as the Black Stars left Accra earlier today, Wednesday, November 13, for the must-win 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Angola.

The Black Stars have been camping in Accra ahead of the game and travelled to Luanda after a final training session on Wednesday.

The team is scheduled to take on already-qualified Palancas Negras in Group F on Friday, November 15.

Upon arrival in the Angolan capital, the four-time African champions will train at the Estadio 11 de Novembro, where Friday’s match will take place.

Ghana’s qualification to the tournament in Morocco, however, hinges on a double loss for Sudan in the remaining qualifiers.

The team is yet to win in the qualifiers after losing two – to Angola and Sudan – and drawing two – to Niger and Sudan.

They currently lie 3rd in Group F behind Angola and Sudan.

Ghana will return to Accra to play their Nigerien counterparts in the final qualifier on Monday.
