A police officer has allegedly beaten the brother of Gospel artiste, Perpetual Didier, to death at the West Hills Mall Monday, January 30, 2023.
According to the musician, the brother was supposed to travel to Germany Tuesday, January 31, and visited the West Hills Mall to get some things and withdraw cash.
Speaking on Onua Maakye Tuesday, the artiste says the officer encountered the brother at the mall and demanded he hands over his bag for him to search through which he resisted.
The officer said the 32-year-old brother, Shadrack Elu, told the officer he doesn’t know what he has done to hand over his bag to him.
She said the officer shocked him with a taser after knocking him to the ground before dragging him to their station.
He died in the course of the brouhaha and the matter is currently at the Bortianor Police station.
