Spokesperson for the Economic Fighters League (EFL), Nii Aryee Opare, has questioned the logic behind the arrest of Cecilia Dapaah by the OSP and being allowed to stay at the very home she was stolen after her bail.
Nii Aryee says Cecilia Dapaah’s residence is a crime scene since the supposed theft took place there and has been asking how she can be allowed access to the same scene whilst investigations are ongoing.
According to the Fighter, before one takes another on for a crime, he/she has to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the missing item belongs to her including how she obtained the money.
But Madam Abena Dapaah despite saying the missing money belongs to her has not proven how she acquired it. Nii Aryee has also tasked the GRA to provide proof of taxes the former Sanitation and Water Resources minister paid on the monies.
