The Central University where the Vice President used to give series of lectures on the economy is still in place, and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President and flag bearer of the NPP, should go there and account to Ghanaians on the economy.
John Dramani Mahama who is making the comments has said the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NDC) and Vice President is no more talking about the economy because he has failed woefully.
According to him, despite being touted as someone with the prowess to heal Ghana’s ailing economy, Dr. Bawumia has made things worse, something John Mahama has slammed a group of people
John Mahama, speaking to party faithful at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church at Alogboshie in the Okaikoi North constituency Sunday, September 15, 2024, as part of his phase two tour of the Greater Accra region, reminded the Vice President that the place he used to give his lectures on the economy is still available and he should go and account to Ghanaians why the economy has plummeted.
“That person who was brought to fix Ghana’s economy is no more talking about anything finance. He has stopped talking about the economy. I remember him visiting the Central University every month at the time doing lecture series and churning out English words.
“He thought governance was about speaking English. I plead with him to go back to the Central University to give us lecture on the economy because the University is still in existence. He should tell us why the cedi has depreciated from GHC4.00 to GHC16.00. We all need to be together to tell this government it is their time to leave after subjecting the nation into wickedness,” he charged.
