The Black Stars of Ghana play their first group game against Portugal in the 2022 FIFA World Cup being held in Qatar today.

With Ghana being ranked the lowest team in the tournament, many expect the Black Stars to put in their best if they could cause a shock like the Iranians and Japanese did to Argentina and Germany.

Even though the FIFA rules don’t allow the media at training grounds after 15 minutes, all indications according to Thierry Nyann clearly gives a direction of how the lineup will go.

He lists the possible starting lineup below:

Mr. Nyann said the morale in camp is positive.

“This is the first time I’ve followed the Black Stars without hearing any complaints in camp. Things have been well organised. There is so much unity in camp and so far the players have understood the task ahead and everyone is in his lane,” he stated.
