The Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, has congratulated COP Christian Yohuno on his promotion to Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of Operations.
The message was on behalf of himself and the Police Management Board as well as the entire police service.
In a post on X Thursday, July 18, 2024, the police administration emphasised their commitment to working collaboratively with their colleagues to maintain peace, security, law, and order.
The post extended heartfelt congratulations to COP Tetteh Yohuno on his new role.

President Akufo-Addo appointed Commissioner of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, as the new Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of Operations.
The Presidency in a press statement stated that the appointment followed the advice of the Police Council during its meeting held on Wednesday, July 17, where COP Yohuno’s exceptional credentials and dedication to duty were acknowledged.
The statement by the Jubilee House Director of Communications, Eugene Arhin, also described the Commissioner as a distinguished law enforcement officer with a career spanning over three decades who has held key positions within the Service.
President Akufo-Addo extended his congratulations to COP Yohuno on his well-deserved appointment and wished him the very best in the discharge of his duties.
