Ghanaian representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup Dreams FC have held Egyptian giants Zamalek to a goalless draw in the first leg of their semi-final encounter.

The match was played on Sunday at the 75,000-capacity Cairo International Stadium in the Egyptian capital.

Strong defensive display by the debutants in the dying embers of the well-attended game ensured that they went back home without conceding against the 2019 champions.

Abdul Karim Zito’s boys played according to plan by ensuring that they held their own against the experienced Zamalek side.

The second leg is scheduled to be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, April 28.
