Ghana’s Dreams FC on Wednesday, December 20 secured an emphatic 4-0 win over Angola’s Academica do Lobito in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The natch, the reverse fixture of the 3-2 victory over APC Lobito barely two weeks ago, was the second group game at home for the Ghanaians.

It was played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the adopted home venue for Dreams FC.

After over 30 minutes of play, Agyenim Boateng Mensah opened the scoring for Dreams FC to separate the two sides going into the break.

After the first half, Karim Zito’s boys continued to pile pressure on the visitors, getting the remaining goals including an own goal by Angelo Sukuakueche.

The result nail APC Lobito to the bottom of Group C while Tunisia’s Club Africain and Dreams FC share the top spot on 9 points each.

Dreams FC will host Club African in their next outing before concluding the group campaign with an away game in Nigeria, against Rivers United.
