Ghana’s remaining representative in CAF club competition Dreams FC would have to battle Mali’s Stade Malien for a place in the semi-finals.

The two West African clubs were drawn against each other at a ceremony held in Cairo, Egypt on Tuesday.

While Dreams FC qualified to the quarter-finals as winners of Group C, Stade Malien were runners-up in Group D.

The first leg of the quarter-final game will take place at Stade du 26 Mars on Friday, March 29 with the second leg scheduled to be played exactly a week later at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Dreams FC are the first Ghanaian side in over a decade to make it out of the group, after Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in the inaugural Cup.

They will follow the steps of the two most decorated Ghanaian sides – who played in the final of the Cup in 2004 – if they make it to the semi-finals.
