The Ghana Police Service has issued a word of caution to persons intending to create mayhem during the 2024 polls rewrite their scripts since they wouldn’t allow anyone to mar the peace and security of the state.
The Service, in a statement issued Thursday, December 21, 2023, it says the police will “work with other sister security agencies diligently and patriotically to maintain the peace and security in our country which has made Ghana a beacon of hope on the continent and beyond.
“We wish to assure the public that under our watch no one will be allowed to undermine the peace, security, law and order in our beloved country,” it said in reaction to comments made by by the Deputy General Secretary – in charge of Operations for the National Democratic (NDC), Mustafa Gbandi,which the police deemed inciteful.
