Asante Kotoko Head Coach Prosper Ogum has assured fans of the club of a new team on Sunday as they take on FC Samartex in Kumasi in Matchday of the Ghana Premier League.

On Thursday, April 18 at Manhyia, the head coach received backing from the life patron of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, despite a poor run of form in the second round of the League. The team has lost six of their last seven games.

Coach Ogum, at training on Thursday, after a two-day off due to fans preventing the team from training, assured them of a new performance.

“I think they should expect new performance, new energy level, in fact everything new on Sunday in terms of performance. We will make the fans happy at the end of the day.”

Kotoko will be facing league leaders FC Samartex at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The playing body is expected to meet the Asantehene at Manhyia after the game.
