A gas tanker has been reported to have developed a leakage at Tema Community 7, in front of the Tema Technical Institute (TTI) bus stop.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) in a post on Tuesday, July 28 said firefighters from the Tema Industrial Area and Motorway Fire Stations have been dispatched to the scene to contain the situation.
Residents, pedestrians, and motorists within the area have been advised to remain calm, comply with instructions from emergency personnel, and follow all safety protocols as efforts continue to control the leakage.
No casualties were recorded. The cause of the gas leakage has not yet been determined as investigations continue.
Authorities are urging the public to avoid the affected area until the situation is brought under control.
