Germany’s 2014 World Cup-winning coach Joachim Löw has denied reports that he has been contacted for the Black Stars job.
“No one from Ghana has officially spoken with me,” he told SkySportsDE when asked about the reports.
Löw had in the past expressed interest to return to management, especially at the summer World Cup.
With the Ghana Football Association (GFA) parting ways with Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo last Monday following a 2-1 defeat to Germany, many have linked Löw to the job.
Former Zambia and Ivory Coast coach Hervé Renard has also been linked to the job after he resigned as Saudi Arabia coach last week and so is former Head Coach Kwesi Appiah.
Joachim Löw appears to be the frontrunner.
The reports around Löw quote his contract fee to be around €150,000.
It remains to be seen whether the GFA will contact him in the coming weeks.
