As part of efforts to highlight its impact on Ghana’s economy, the German Embassy has partnered with the Media General Group.
On Thursday, March 12, 2026, the German Ambassador to Ghana, Frederik Landshöft, paid a courtesy call to the media giant in Kanda, Accra.
The visit sought to strengthen ties between the Embassy and Media General, with discussions focused on showcasing the growing role of German businesses in Ghana.
Talks highlighted Germany’s contributions to infrastructure, security, skilled labour development, and migration.
Ambassador Landshöft pointed to projects such as the Eastern Corridor roads and ongoing collaborations with Ghanaian institutions as examples of tangible impact.

“We are both middle powers, dedicated to international cooperation, the rules-based order, and shared interests in West African security, migration, and business. We want to tell the success stories of GIZ and German companies here. That is why I came, to commend your media house and explore further cooperation,” he said.
Media General’s Group CEO, Beatrice Agyemang, commended the German Development Agency (GIZ) for its initiatives and pledged the company’s support in amplifying Ghanaian-German success stories.
“We are glad to be your partners in communication. We commend your TVET programs, your work in agriculture and sustainability, and your leadership in climate and environmental protection. Nothing interests us more than telling stories that impact society,” she noted.
Both parties agreed to deepen collaboration to further cement Ghana-German relations and ensure the public benefits from these partnerships.
