Ghana have dropped again in the latest ranking released by the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) on Thursday.
The October edition sees Ghana drop from the 70th place to the 73rd place in the world.
The four-time Africa champions, however, remain 14th on the continent behind the likes of Burkina Faso, DR Congo and Cape Verde.
The matches used in the points build-up for the October rankings are the AFCON 2025 qualifiers against Sudan with the Black Stars drawing the first in Accra

The Falcons of Jediane have, therefore, become the joint biggest climbers this month alongside Comoros.
Sudan moved from 120th place to 110th while Comoros, who are in the same group as Ghana in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, moved from 118th place to 108th.
World champions Argentina continue to dominate the rankings with France, Spain, England and Brazil joining them in the Top 5.
In Africa, Morocco (13th) lead the pack with Senegal (20th), Egypt (30th), Nigeria (36th) and Algeria (37th) constituting the continent’s Top 5.
