The 2025 edition of Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) kicked off with a vibrant and emotional Storytelling Night, and Adjorkor, representing the Greater Accra Region, walked away with the Star Performer award for the week.

Her outstanding performance transported audiences back to 1948, recounting the historic boycott led by Nii Kwabena Bonne III, who rallied the people with the defiant cry, “We will not buy!”

His bold stand against colonial injustice helped spark a wave of consciousness that contributed to Ghana’s independence movement.

Adjorkor’s stagecraft, poise, and commanding delivery captivated both the judges and the live audience. Clad in traditional Ga regalia and supported by performers from the National Theatre, her narrative highlighted the courage, culture, and resilience of the Ga people.

Other contestants also shone on the night.

Etornam of the Volta Region was awarded Most Eloquent for her compelling oration.

Adwoa from the Eastern Region took home the Best Costume award for her stunning display of cultural elegance.

Heema from Western North was honoured with the Kivo Woman Award, which celebrates grace, strength, and confidence.

The Storytelling Night served as the opening live show of the season, offering all 16 contestants the platform to introduce themselves and their rich cultural heritage to the nation through oral tradition, music, and dance.

Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2025 airs every Sunday at 8 PM on TV3, promising more dazzling displays of tradition, talent, and intellect as the journey to crown this year’s cultural queen continues.
