Asante Kotoko on Sunday secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Nations FC to move back in the Top 4 of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.
After striker Albert Amoah opened the scoring for the Porcupine Warriors in the 23rd minute, Samba O’Neil converted from the spot in the 80th minute to make it 2-0 after a dominant display in the second half.
Guinean forward Morifing Donzo sealed the win with a penalty in added time, completing a comprehensive 3-0 triumph.
The win lifts Asante Kotoko to third place, just six points behind league leaders Bibiani Goldstars, reigniting their title aspirations with eight matches remaining.
They are on the same points with archrivals, Hearts of Oak, who were held to a goalless draw at Kpando Heart of Lions in the early kick-off on Friday.
Asante Kotoko’s next match is against Aduana FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park in Dormaa.
Nations FC, who slipped as a result of the defeat, will host Berekum Chelsea in their next encounter.
