Dreams FC have moved from off the bottom of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League after a goalless draw against Gold Stars SC on Sunday, November 3.
It was a Matchday 9 encounter at the Bibiani DUN’s Park with the leaders seeking to extend their three-point lead.
Dreams FC went into the game with a poor run thus far this season, having yet to win a game.
Prior to the game, however, head coach Abdul Karim Zito expressed resolve to overturn the fortunes of Dreams FC by beating the league leaders.
He rather walked away with a draw, the fifth this season, in Sunday’s match.
The CAF Club of the Year nominees are now on five points.
Their next game will be against former champions Medeama SC, who suffered a shocking 2-0 loss to Heart of Oak at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.
Gold Stars, on the other hand, will travel to Wenchi to play Young Apostles in their next game. They lead the log with 19 points.
