Accra Hearts of Oak have been held to a 1-1 draw by Nsoatreman FC in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.

A Salim Adams’ freekick cancelled an early goal by Stephen Diyou in the Matchday 12 opener at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The Phobians were seeking to extend their winning run to four games, having beaten Medeama SC, Vision FC and Karela United in their recent resurgence under coach Aboubakar Ouattara.

But Yaw Preko’s side were also seeking their fourth win in the campaign, having started slowly in the domestic league this season.

After Diyou’s strike in the 12th minute, Adams stepped up five minutes later to find the leveller from a long-range freekick.

The two first-half goals were the only ones recorded in Saturday’s game.

With a point, Hearts move above Medeama SC and Heart of Lions to third on the log while Nsoatreman move to 10th.

The Phobians’ next clash will be away to archrivals Asante Kotoko at the Len Clay Stadium.

Nsoatreman will next play Dreams FC at home.
