Ghana Premier League side Hearts of Oak have been knocked out of the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup by lower division side True Life.
The Division 2 League club beat the Phobians by a goal to nil away at Hearts of Oak’s Training Park in Pobiman.
It was a Round of 64 tie.
Hearts of Oak were not the only top-flight side to have exited at the stage.
Last year’s semi-finalists Attram de Visser also travelled to the Nii Adjei Kraku II Park in Tema to stun Vision FC by a goal to nil.
Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani Goldstars SC also beat Basake Holy Stars 1-0 away.
Hearts of Oak fans have not been happy with the scoreline, demanding answers from both the technical and playing bodies.
“The coach is solely to blame for this. The FA Cup is an avenue to play in Africa so you don’t use a second-string side. You parade your best XI and qualify.
