A 3-0 drubbing of Berekum Chelsea by Hearts of Oak in a Matchday 29 game has seen the Phobians move just behind their arch-rivals on the Ghana Premier League table.

After Hamza Issah’s first-half strike to put the Phobians ahead, for the first time in many matches, Linda Mtange and Kassim Cisse scored in the second half to secure all the three points.

It is the second win in six games for the former GPL champions.

Berekum Chelsea, coached by Samuel Boadu, who won the league a couple of years ago with Hearts of Oak, missed an opportunity to enter the Top 4.

A win could have taken them to that position.

However, Hearts of Oak rather roped the gains as they moved two places up from 13th to 11th.

They will next face Aduana FC before a crucial one against Asante Kotoko.
