Discussing how he got Shatta Wale on his previous song, the young rapper told Christian Agyei Frimpong on Onua FM’s Anigye Mmere entertainment and lifestyle show that the call just came.
“Two days before that day, Shatta called, and out of excitement, I couldn’t sleep the whole night. There was no water in the pool but I stood in that space throughout the call,” he narrated Monday, July 18, 2022.
Foto Copy further revealed, that he never imagined a collaboration with Shatta Wale, so when his team told him that the ‘dancehall king’ wants to be on his song, it came as a big surprise to him.
“He called my team and told them, he wanted to work with me. Because I was not in a good mood, when they notified me, I thought they just wanted me to be cheerful. And my dad too sometimes makes jokes, so I thought he was making it up.
“I was very excited because that was the first time he spoke to me on phone. Shatta is a good man and a great musician. His songs are likeful to me and I love his stagecraft,” the young chap concluded.
Foto Copy is out with a new jam dubbed “Tomorrow” ft South African legendary artist Uhuru.
