Former Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), Paul Adom-Otchere, has confirmed his appearance before the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) today, July 31, 2025.

This follows a letter dated July 25, 2025, from the OSP identifying Adom-Otchere as a suspect in its ongoing investigation into alleged corruption and corruption-related offences stemming from the said contract between GACL and a private firm.

The broadcast journalist on his prime show “Good Evening Ghana” affirmed his availability to be at the Special Prosecutor’s Office for questioning.

“My lawyers and I will present ourselves to the OSP today, Thursday, July 31 at 3pm for questioning,” he stated.

Mr. Adom-Otchere, meanwhile, accused the Special Prosecutor of deliberately rejecting his lawyer’s request for postponement of his appearance.

“OSP rejected my lawyer’s request to appear with me on Monday, August 4th instead of Thursday, July 31st,” the journalist alleged.

Meanwhile, he maintains he did not sign the said contract and cannot be accused of engaging in any act of corruption.

“I didn’t know the Managing Director had signed the contract with Revenue Assurance until Manesseh Azure contacted me 10 days ago that he was investigating it. The time the Board was briefed on the contract was in November 2024 and I signed in January 2025,” he stated.
