All is set for the largest food bazaar in West Africa, Onua Wobedi A, Bedi, scheduled for Friday, December 22, 2023, at the Onua TV/FM premises at Adesa We, Kanda.
The event which is taking place at the Gate 3 of Media General’s Accra premises is expecting over 1,000 people in attendance.
Varieties of local dishes are going to be prepared including fufuo, kokonte, plain rice, jollof rice, banku, tuo zaafi and a host of others.
Local drinks such as sobolo, baobab drink, millet juice and others would also be served. As at 3pm Thursday, December 21, when OnuaOnline visited the event venue, many of the cooks have arrived.
Five cows are going to be slaughtered with 120 goats, five pigs, 260 fowls with varieties of bush meat presented by some popular chop bar operators who have come to cook at the event.
Speaking to the host of Onua Maakye, Captain Smart, who is lead organiser of the programme, he called on all Ghanaians who can make it tomorrow to pass by the Onua TV/FM premises to patronise the event.
