Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has expressed happiness to join Tottenham Hotspur, citing the club’s history and the project of new manager Thomas Frank as motivation.
He says it is a big moment for him and he can’t wait to start.
“I’ve always wanted to play at the highest level, how big the club is, the history, and the Champions League as well, so it is a big moment,” he stated.
Kudus made the switch from West Ham United after completing his medicals on Thursday.
According to the Hammers, in a terse statement on the club’s website, Kudus signed for an undisclosed fee.
The deal is reported to be six years.
“I am finally here and I can’t wait to start,” the Black Stars player said.
Kudus is delighted to play under Frank, who replaced Ange Postecoglou barely a month ago.
The midfielder said the new manager’s knack for developing talent is one of the qualities that got him endeared to him.
“It is a big sign of why I wanted to work under him as well.”
Kudus also spoke about his style of play and assured Spurs fans that he will always have them to take something home, promising to entertain them with his play.
