Communications Officer for Berekum Chelsea, Albert Kwabena Diawuo, has assured Accra Hearts of Oak that just as they did for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, they will do it for them too.

Berekum Chelsea host Hearts of Oak at Berekum on Match Day 34 of the Ghana Premier League which comes off on Sunday, June 11, 2023.

Relegation threatened Hearts of Oak are currently on 45 points in 11th position and must win their final game to avoid a possible relegation after winning just two of their last 10 games.

Speaking on Maakye Sports with Solomon Amankwah Friday, June 9, Mr. Diawuo said Berekum Chelsea are not the team to relegate Hearts of Oak but rather their own performance.

“We are not the ones taking Hearts of Oak to relegation and I want you to mark my words. It is their own performance. In their last 10 games they’ve won just two and if Hearts want to stay in the league, they should have put up a better performance by at least drawing some of their games. We are on 46 points and we want to finish the league with 49 points. Just as we did it for Asante Kotoko, we’ll do it for Hearts of Oak,” he stated.
