The KMA has condemned outrightly an act put up by one Bright Agyei, a member of the phased-out Community Protection Agency under the Youth Employment Agency who was attached to the KMA.
In a viral video reported by OnuaOnline Thursday, September 15, 2022, Mr. Agyei was found assaulting a hawker in her 50s with blood oozing from her face.
The act which has been described by the KMA as despicable happened at the Mampong Road at the Central Business District in Adum.
In a release signed by Kwadwo Akuamoah Boateng, the Coordinating Director of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, it says management of the Assembly is investigating the matter to render the appropriate sanctions for Mr. Agyei.
Meanwhile, the woman who was assaulted has been sent to the hospital, treated and discharged.
