Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has permanently banned five dismissed students from entering the university’s campus, citing their alleged continued involvement in activities that threaten the safety and order of the institution.

The individuals affected by the directive are Bernard Boadi, Francis Tutu Atuahene, John Kelvin Kane, Roland Botwe Nsiah, and Felix Acquah.

According to the university, the five were dismissed in 2025 but have since continued to loiter on campus and disrupt the peace and orderly functioning of the institution.

In a statement issued by the University Relations Office on Friday, March 13, and signed by Deputy Registrar Daniel Norris Bekoe, management stated that the individuals are strictly prohibited from entering or remaining on the university premises.

The university explained that the directive forms part of measures aimed at safeguarding the safety of students, staff and other members of the university community, as well as ensuring discipline and the smooth conduct of academic and administrative activities.

Management further warned the individuals to desist from entering the campus, noting that any breach of the directive will attract appropriate legal action.

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing its regulations and maintaining a peaceful, safe and conducive environment for teaching, learning, research and community engagement.
