The 40-day remembrance will be held at the Police Training School at Tesano in Accra on Saturday, January 11, 2023.

Sharing the visit on his social media handles, Kojo said he felt comforted by the warm reception Otumfuo and his chiefs gave him.

“The comfort of the Leader is the comfort of the people. We are grateful to Your Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene and the diligent chiefs and elders in your service at Manhyia Palace.

“We are grateful for your stately audience and heartfelt words of comfort. As one kind elder at court whispered to me: Proverbs 22:29, Do you see a person skilled in his work? He will stand before kings; I am humbled,” he posted on his social media, adding “Aseda. Gratitude. Asantehene, wo nkwa so. Asanteman ne Ghanaman nyinara, y3nkwa so.”
