Kojo Bonsu, a former Major of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly has rated the Akufo-Addo led NPP government 10 per cent for their performance.

He says the President’s failure to provide reliefs for the citizens in these hard times depict how poor he is tackling the challenges confronting Ghanaians.

“When the president came to give address we expected him to give us some reliefs. Reduce fuel price and others but he didn’t.

“In terms of performance, out of 100 I will give them 10,” he indicated.

Mr. Bonsu who is aspiring to be flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress says he is confident of a win should the NDC elect him as their leader in their upcoming primaries.

Speaking with Johnnie Hughes on TV3’s New Day Thursday, November 17, 2022, Kojo Bonsu said he will campaign on the track record of the NDC and his personal legacy.

He said excelling as a former Mayor of the KMA which is one of the most populous assemblies in the country, coupled with his service as Board Chair of the National Sports Authority and Managing Director of GOIL shows how competent he is to lead Ghana.

When asked why he is contesting his former boss, John Dramani Mahama, he said “it’s not acrimonious. This is democracy.”
