Broadcaster Blessed Godsbrain Smart has said “corruption in this country is schemed at the presidency.”
Ken Ofori-Atta, the Finance Minister according to him as a cousin of the President, with Asante Bediatuo, a relative to the duo being the lawyer of the Finance Minister connotes something fishy.
According to Captain Smart, the company which advises the state on its bonds and takes 9% commission belongs to the Finance Minister and Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, who holds no portfolio in this country is the brother of the President and also the lawyer of Ken Ofori-Atta as evidenced in the ongoing probe suggests every thievery that has gone on in the country was masterminded by the four heads.
For this reason, Captain Smart says the President cannot be exempted from the stealings and misappropriations by state agencies in the country.
“Nana Addo is aware of every single dime stolen in this country. Because of his children, the bost MD was sacked based on the contaminated fuel, they were left off the hook, galamsey issues, PDS scandal, those involved were left off the hook. No roads, no water, poor school infrastructure, no food for SHS students yet ‘Nana Addo is grandasing our cash’. That man is corrupt than the word corruption,” Captain Smart reiterated.
“There is nothing honourable you can boast of anymore. You’ve disgraced yourself, the party, and the entire country,” he told President Akufo-Addo.
Speaking further, Nana Addo would wish to resign for Bawumia but he is afraid Bawumia will expose him.
“Nana Addo wanted to leave it for Bawumia in 2023 but he is afraid the new Finance Minister will expose Ken. If Bawumia takes over now, he will change the Finance Minister, he will change the Defence Minister, he will change the Interior Minister, Roads minister, he will change Ursula, he will change the Agric minister, Oppong Nkrumah, and Nana Addo will be exposed,” he said.
“The Akyem Mafia is afraid. Gabby used to tweet a lot on Bawumia but now he flees when he hears his name,” he added.
He observed further that, Ken Ofori-Atta’s probe by the legislator has an agenda and wouldn’t bring any result, especially looking at his posture before the 8-member ad hoc committee from Parliament.
“What will happen should happen and he doesn’t care if you sack him or not,” Captain Smart deduced of his posture before the Committee.
