West Ham United’s in-form goal poacher Mohammed Kudus has sent a strong warning to Liverpool and Manchester United ahead of their match-ups in the coming days.

The Hammers will travel to Anfield on Wednesday, December 20 for the quarter-final game in the EFL Cup against the Reds before hosting the Red Devils in the English Premier League on Saturday.

They will also travel to the Emirates to face off with league leaders Arsenal after the Liverpool-Man United games.

Speaking after scoring a brace against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, the Ghanaian conceded that the match against Liverpool will be tough but they are ready for it.

“It will be another tough game but the boys will be up for it and the win today is a lot of boost and good for the confidence,” he told West Ham United TV.

“We will give our best any day.”

The Irons beat Arsenal 3-1 to reach the quarter-finals and Kudus earlier said they will repeat that feat in Wednesday’s match because “titles are very important”.

“This is an opportunity to go to the next round, the semi-finals, so you saw the performance against Arsenal.”

On his performance against Wolves, he expressed happiness that it got the team all the three maximum points.

He talked up the camaraderie among the players, particularly the support from those who barely get playing time.

“We support each other a lot during the ups and downs, so you can see the togetherness and that helps us a lot,” he said.

“Even the guys who are not playing are very supportive as well, so it is credit to everyone around the team.

“We keep building on that and we focus on Wednesday.”
