A police officer and a final year student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) have allegedly gang raped a female student at Bomso.
Information available to Onuaonline indicate the two suspects lured the victim into an off campus hostel at Bomso and allegedly pounced on the her, raped her in turns and video recorded the whole process.
The issue happened on Wednesday July 20, 2022. The two suspects being Frank Adu Poku and the final year student were held in police custody. The police officer was held at Apiadu Police Station whilst the accomplice (level 400 student) was kept at the KNUST Police Station.
The police officer (suspect) who has been identified as Frank Adu Poku together with his accomplice after being in custody for almost a week have been transferred to the Regional Command upon instructions from the Inspector General of Police for further investigations.
The police is yet to comment or issue a press release on the issue at the time this report was being filed.
