The Member of Parliament for Madina, Francis-Xavier Sosu, has officially launched the Teiman-Borgatown road project, a major infrastructure upgrade aimed at improving mobility and development in the constituency.

The nearly four-kilometre stretch had been in a deplorable condition for over a decade, prompting persistent complaints from residents.

Speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony, Dr. Sosu expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama and the Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwame Agbodza, for supporting the initiative.

Contractors are already mobilized on site, and construction is expected to proceed immediately.

The project is part of a broader road infrastructure drive across Madina, with several other roads in key communities set to commence soon.

Dr. Sosu reaffirmed the government’s commitment to upgrading road networks across the municipality, despite financial constraints.

Residents have been called upon to remain patient and supportive, as visible progress is already being made under the current administration’s development agenda.

The MP’s efforts aim to stimulate economic activities, attract new investments and businesses, and increase employment opportunities for Madina residents.
